SKRIPSI : HUBUNGAN HIGIENE PERORANGAN DAN SANITASI DENGAN KEJADIAN DEMAM TIFOID DI PUSKESMAS CEMPAE KOTA PAREPARE 2015

Purpose
Provide information about the relationship among personal hygiene , environment
and sanitation with the incidence of typhoid fever in Puskesmas Cempae 2015
Method
The type of research is observational analytic research . The study design used is
cross sectional. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling
where the sampling is determined by the researcher according to the research
criteria
Result
Test variables with chi-square test showed the habit of washing hands before
eating ( p = 0.059 OR = 4.500 ) , hand washing after defecation ( p = 0,010 OR =
9,750 ) , the habit of washing groceries ( p = 0.516 OR = 1.583 ) , water supply ( p
= 0.590 OR = 2.167 ) , a means of excreta disposal ( p = 0,010 OR = 9,750 )
Conclusion
The result showed that there is a relationship between washing hand after
defecation and means of excreta disposal by the incidence of typhoid fever in
Puskesmas Cempae Parepare 2015 while the habit of washing hands before eating
, washing food and clean water facilities do not show their relationship
