SKRIPSI : HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU MENYUSUI TENTANG ASI TERHADAP PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI KELURAHAN LASUSUATAHUN 2015

Objective To identify the correlation level of knowledge of breasfeeding mothers about breastfeeding to giving an exclusive breasfeeding.
Method The study was analytic observational (all variables measured / observed in a given moment, one moment does not mean that all subjects were observed exactly at the same time but it means that the subject is only observed once and measurement was made during the inspection), with Cross Sectional Study design. This study will assessed the correlation of level of knowledge breastfeeding mothers about breastfeeding with variable giving an Exclusive Breastfeeding. The instrumen of this study using questionnaire and checklist paper. Data were analyzed using Chi - square with p > 0.05 and processed by computerized using SPSS versi 21.
Result This study known to be obtained most of the respondents have a good level of knowledge of 54 mothers and rest 24 mothers had enough knowledge about breastfeeding, it appears that the number of mothers who give an Exclusive Breasfeeding with good knowledge is 48 mothers (88,9%) and mother have enough knowledge & give an Exclusive Breastfeeding is 19 mothers (79,2%), meanwhile mothers with good level of knowledge and did not give an Exclusive is 6 mothers (11,1%) and mother with enough knowledge & did not give an Exclusive Breastfeeeding is 5 mothers (20%).
Conclusion The results of the statistical analysis by chi square was found that there is not a correlation level of knowledge of breasfeeding mothers about breastfeeding to giving an Exclusive Breastfeeding with a p value = 0.255 > (α = 0.05), it means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.
