Background: The incidence of LBW in Indonesia ranges from 9-30% varied
from one region to another. Until now LBW remains a problem throughout the
world because it is the direct cause of morbidity and neonatal and perinatal
mortality. As many as 25% of newborns with low birth weight and 50% died
when the baby died.
General Purpose: To determine the factors that affect low birth weight infants in
the fourth quarter 2015 in RSIA. Sitti Khadijah 1 Makassar.
Method: The study was observational analytic with cross sectional method
(metode potong-lintang).
Results: Show-age mothers to babies of low birth weight (LBW) more at the age
