SKRIPSI: HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN DENGAN SIKAP REMAJA PUTERI TENTANG MENARCHE PADA SISWI SMPN 21 MAKASSAR
Menarche is an early sign of entry of a woman of reproductive age.
The average age of menarche in general is 12.4 years. In South Sulawesi, the
percentage of first menstruation (menarche) occurred in the age group 13-14 years
(35.3%). As for the age group of girls with early menarche incident occurred at
around the age of 11-12 years of age (12.2%). While the percentage of menarche
age more slowly in the age group 17-18 years (4.5%), and 11.3% do not know the
answer related to their first menstruation
Objective: To find out the correlation between knowledge and attitudes about
menarche in adolescent girls of SMPN 21 Makassar.
Methods: The method used is analytic observational (cross-sectional) with
purposive sampling method of non-probability sampling with sample
determination technique in which a sample among the population over the terms
of two criteria: the criteria for inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Result: Respondents who have a good knowledge and have a positive attitude
about menarche was at 58.6%. While respondents who have less knowledge of
good and have a negative attitude amounted to 63.3%
Conclusion: The results obtained by statistical analysis of test p = 0.047 which
means that there is a relationship that can be concluded that there is a relationship
between knowledge and attitudes about menarche in adolescent girls.
