BACKGROUND :Blood glucose levels are a very important factor for the smooth working of the body. The studies also show a strong correlation between impaired glucose tolerance ( IGT ) and cardiovascular risk in metabolic syndrome and diabetes. Changes in lifestyle and regular physical activity is proven to reduce weight and TGT. Research reports in various regions in Indonesia are carried out in the 1980s, shows the distribution of the prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus between 0.8 % in Tanah Toraja , up 6.1% obtained in Manado . Based on data from statistical center in Indonesia in 2003 , estimated Indonesia's population aged over 20 years as many as 133 people. According to the research of basic health South Sulawesi ( Rikesdas ) the prevalence of DM in Indonesia based health workers is 0.7 % while the prevalence of diabetes is based on the diagnosis of health professionals and symptoms of 1.1 %.
PURPOSE :Knowing the influence of physical activity on blood glucose while in Syekh Yusuf Gowa’s field.
METHOD:This study uses a pre-experimental. While the design or the research design used in this study is one group pretest posttest design. Mechanical Sampling is done in a nonprobability sampling is purposive sampling with 34 samples of research subjects. Data analysis was performed using univariate, bivariate, with paired t-test.

RESULT :Shows the influence of physical activity on blood glucose levels in samples of physical activity ( p = 0.000 ).
CONCLUSION :There is a significant relationship between physical activity on blood glucose while.
